PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structure with the small number of parts having no risk that fingers or the like are clamped by an adjustment part or the like, also easily performing adjustment work at the multi-stage, and also effectively suppressing rattling of a brake lever. SOLUTION: In the brake lever adjustment device, adjustment mechanisms (5, 7, 8, 9, 10) for adjusting a clearance between the brake lever 6 and a grip 2 are provided between the brake lever 6 and a pivot shaft 5. An adjust bolt 7 having an adjustment knob 8 and thread-engaged with the pivot shaft 5 or the brake lever 6 is arranged between the brake lever 6 and the pivot shaft 5, thereby, the adjust bolt 7 itself can be functioned as a pivot arm of the brake lever 6 and an adjustment mechanism and the number of parts can be outstandingly reduced. The adjust bolt 7 constituting the adjustment mechanism and easily adjusted by the adjustment knob 8 is thread-engaged with the pivot shaft 5, thereby, the pivot shaft 5 is not totally removed out without providing a particular removal-stop member.
