PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion method in blow molding in which a wall part for closing an insert member can be surely and accurately cut off in opening work of the insert member after molding. SOLUTION: Split type dies 1, 2 in which recessed grooves 4 for fittingly inserting cylindrical insert components 3 are formed at a cavity 5 are used. The cylindrical insert components 3 are fittingly inserted in the recessed grooves 4 of the cavity 5 of the opened die 1 and held in an immobile state. A parison 6 is arranged between the dies 1, 2. After closing the dies, a pressure fluid is introduced into the parison 6 to expand the parison 6 along the cavity 5, and the parison 6 and the cavity 5 side ends 9 of the insert components 3 are welded and integrated. After the dies 1, 2 are opened to take out a molded product, a portion 13, closed with the parison, of the insert component 3 is cut off by post-working and opened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
