PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottom force traveling molding system designed to upgrade the quality of a finished product (a molded item) by positioning a traveling truck for a bottom force to be loaded on, at a molding station. SOLUTION: A molding device M, configured of a top force MU and bottom forces MR and ML which mold a thermoplastic sheet material H, incorporates a bottom force traveling molding system which actuates two installed traveling trucks TR and TL with the bottom forces MR and ML loaded aboard, at a molding station S, to reciprocate to the top force MU. This system includes (1) a truck conveying mechanism A which moves the two traveling trucks TR and TL independently of each other by means of a servo motor 23 mounted on each of the two traveling trucks TR and TL, (2) a traveling mechanism B which runs the two traveling trucks TR and TL on a pair of rails 25 in an orthogonal direction with the molding device M, and (3) a positioning means C which positions the traveling trucks TR and TL at the molding station S while being engaged with the traveling trucks TR and TL.
