The present invention relates to a composition for a perm agent comprising a cysteamine free base. The composition for a perm agent can induce sufficient hair swelling without separately adding an alkali agent because of having pH 9.5 due to an amine group of the cysteamine free base and does not fall forming ability of wave or straight in comparison with a conventional perm agent. In addition, residual hydrochloric acid and monoethanol hydrochloride generated from the neutralization of the alkali agent remain in the perm agent and harm hairs in the case of the conventional perm agent. The perm agent significantly alleviates damages of hairs and scalp and significantly reduces offensive odor generated when performing perm and after performing the perm. |
