PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to continue use of a water decomposition device when a liquid pressure at a supply port of a housing of the water decomposition device exceeds an allowable pressure of the housing.SOLUTION: A water decomposition device (1) comprises a first electrode (3), a second electrode (4), a partition (5), a housing (15) and a pressure regulation mechanism (20). The first electrode (3) is connected to the second electrode (4) electrically. The first electrode (3), the second electrode (4) and the partition (5) are contained in the housing (15). The housing (15) is provided with a supply port (7) and a drain hole (9). The pressure regulation mechanism (20) is comprised to be driven by the pressure in the housing (15) and to keep the pressure in the housing (15) under an allowable pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
