PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a circuit in a precise length on a printed matter, irrespective of the degree of telescopic motions of a backing material.SOLUTION: Simultaneously with the printing (or the trial print) of a circuit on a printed matter 4, a camera 210 is moved in a vertical direction to image a region containing one reference mark at a mark position PM1, and to image a region containing the other reference mark at a second mark position PM2. From the taken images, positions of the one reference mark and the other reference mark are detected, and a distance of the paired reference marks is determined from the detected positions of the reference marks, so that the revolving speed of a rubber cylinder 2 at the circuit printing time of a next printed matter 4 (a formal printed matter) 4 is adjusted in accordance with the distance between the paired reference marks determined. Here, the reference marks in the vertical direction should not be limited to one pair (or two) but may be three or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
