PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking device capable of preventing shifting of a storage body in a horizontal direction during the entering/taking-out operation of a bicycle well and suppressing the design change of a horizontal movement braking device to a minimum even when the length or the position of the storage body of the parking device changes.SOLUTION: A horizontal movement braking device 30 is provided to block the movement of a storage body 15 in a horizontal direction when a bicycle is loaded or unloaded with respect to the storage body 15. The horizontal movement braking device 30 includes a step body 31 fitted to be movable downward by the wheels of the ridden bicycle, an installation surface abutment body 32 abuttable on and separable from an installation surface on which the parking device is installed, and an abutment body driving mechanism 33 for setting the installation surface abutment body 32 in an attitude to abut on the installation surface by the first pressing of the step 31, thereby blocking the movement of the storage body 15 in the horizontal direction, setting the installation surface abutment body 32 in an attitude to separate from the installation surface by the second pressing of the step body 31, thereby permitting the movement of the storage body 15 in the horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
