PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an electronic device to operate correspondingly to an operation of a remote controller having a discrepant ID through an easy user's operation if a remote controller ID on the side of the electronic device does not match the remote control ID of the side of the remote controller.SOLUTION: An electronic device 111 comprises storage means 116 of holding first remote controller identification information and control means 113 of performing an operation corresponding to operation information included in a first remote controller signal in response to reception of the first remote controller signal including the first remote controller identification information. The control means starts counting a predetermined time in response to reception of a second remote controller signal including second remote controller identification information different from the first remote controller identification information in a power-OFF state of the electronic device, and transits from a first state in which an operation corresponding to operation information included in the second remote controller signal is not performed to a second state in which the operation corresponding to the operation information included in the second remote controller signal is performed in response to reception of the second remote controller signal including specific operation information within the predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
