PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can suppress an influence of heat from a fixing part on a sheet, and reduce a part of the sheet to be wasted due to conveyance of the sheet.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 300 can print an image on a sheet P including continuous form paper, and comprises an image forming part 330, a fixing part 340, a sheet conveying part 350, and a control part 370. The image forming part 330 forms an image on the sheet P. The fixing part 340 heats the image formed on the sheet P to fix the image to the sheet P. The sheet conveying part 350 conveys the sheet P. The control part 370 controls the sheet conveying part 350 to convey the sheet P in a sheet conveyance direction after completion of printing, and convey the sheet P in the direction reverse to the sheet conveyance direction before resumption of printing and subsequently convey the sheet P to the sheet conveyance direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
