PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a capacitance type sensor equipped with a bridge wiring in the intersection of a plurality of electrode layers with high productivity.SOLUTION: The present invention is a capacitance type sensor manufacturing method for forming on a substrate a first electrode and a second electrode extending in a mutually intersecting direction, said method being characterized by having the steps of: forming a bridge wiring part on a substrate that constitutes a portion of the first electrode; forming an insulating layer located above the bridge wiring part and provided with an opening above both ends of the bridge wiring part; pasting a photosensitive conductive sheet having a conductive layer that includes a conductive material to the top of the insulating layer, and establishing electrical continuity between the bridge wiring part and the conductive layer via the opening; and exposing to light and developing the photosensitive conductive sheet, and forming a first island-shaped electrode part establishing electrical continuity to the bridge wiring part and constituting a portion of the first electrode and a second island-shaped electrode part isolated from the first electrode and adjoining a portion of the second electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
