PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instruct observation equipment on observation execution with a simple configuration and excellent operability.SOLUTION: When an earphone jack of a survey terminal device 1 is an earphone jack for a 4-pole plug and a control signal such as a regenerative signal is input from an earphone 2 having a remote control function, the control signal is considered as an instruction of observation execution with respect to observation equipment 4 and an observation execution signal is transmitted to the observation equipment 4 using a communication function with the observation equipment 4. Since the earphone having a remote control function is widely used, it is easily procured at a low cost. Furthermore, any control signal such as reproduction or stop is considered as an instruction of observation execution, so that a user does not hesitate in selecting operation buttons.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
