PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive for polarizing plates, which exhibits good adhesivity and flex resistance on polyene polarizers.SOLUTION: An adhesive for polarizing plates contains: a first organic compound having an alicyclic structure and containing at least one acrylic group or methacrylic group; a second organic compound having a cyclic unsaturated structure and containing at least one acrylic group or methacrylic group; and a third organic compound having either an alicyclic structure or cyclic unsaturated structure, containing no photosensitive groups, and having a hydroxyl value of no less than 20. Total content of the first and second organic compounds is no less than 85 wt.% and content of the third organic compound is 1-12 wt.%, inclusive, with respect to 100 wt.% of the adhesive for polarizing plates. The adhesive has a cure shrinkage less than 7%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
