PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irregular-shaped particle that is useful as an additive for coating agent used for paint, paper, information recording paper, light diffusion film or the like, or as an additive for cosmetic.SOLUTION: The irregular-shaped particle is an irregular-shaped particle made of polymer derived from a polymerizable vinyl-based monomer containing cross-linkable monomer by 5 to 50 wt.%, and includes a cross-section concave, mushroom-like, semi-spherical or double-sided convex lens-like shape having one notched portion in communication in the diameter direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
