A gas turbine engine (20) is also provided and may comprise a compressor (52), a combustor (56) in fluid communication with the compressor (52), and a diffuser around the combustor (56) and a turbine (54). A heat exchanger (102) may have an inlet fluidly coupled to the diffuser. A second conduit (104) may be fluidly coupled to an outlet of the heat exchanger (102). An annular passage (114) may be fluidly coupled to the second conduit (104). A tangential onboard injector (120) may be fluidly coupled to the annular passage (114).
