摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high accuracy of focus accuracy of a subject at a small aperture even in an imaging device having a movable range of a focus lens limited.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: detection means S316 that detects that a focus lens reaches any end of both ends of a movable range; determination means S317 that, when it is determined that the focus lens reaches the end of the movable range, and an aperture is stopped down further than a preset value, determines that a focus position of a subject exists in an area around a lens end; reverse means S318 that, when it is detected that the focus lens reaches the end of the movable range, reverses a movement direction of the focus lens; and low speed control means S320 that, when it is determined that the focus position of the subject exists in the area around the lens end, reverses the movement direction of the focus lens, makes a lens movement speed only for prescribed number of sampling of a focus evaluation value slower than a pre-reversed lens movement speed, and implements focus control of a position where the focus evaluation value subjected to the sampling is maximized as a focus position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
