PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce turn-up of a cleaning member.SOLUTION: There is provided a cleaning device comprising an image carrier, a cleaning member for removing developer on the image carrier and a storage part that stores a removed toner, where a conveyance member conveying a developer in the storage part is located immediately above a contact part at which the image carrier and the cleaning member are in contact with each other; a time to drive the image carrier is longer than a time to drive the conveyance member; when a developer carrier for developing an electrostatic image on the image carrier is driven, the conveyance member is also driven.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
