PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently reducing a peroxy perfluoropolyether by reducing catalyst poisoning by hydrogen fluoride even when using a conventional catalyst which is inexpensive and can be easily recycled.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for reducing a peroxy perfluoropolyether by using hydrogen in the presence of a transition metal catalyst, wherein the method is carried out in the presence of a catalyst activity reducing agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
