PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial ground fault testing method and an artificial ground fault testing system which can measure an artificial surge signal which propagates power transmission and distribution lines.SOLUTION: An artificial ground fault testing method includes: an artificial ground fault circuit breaker 31 for switching a connection and a cut-off between a power transmission line 10 and a ground 35; surge signal measuring instruments 20, 21 for measuring an artificial surge signal that propagates the power transmission line 10; a first time signal generation part 30a for counting a time; and a second time signal generation part 30b. The first time signal generation part 30a outputs a first time signal to the artificial ground fault circuit breaker 31 at the previously set set-time. The artificial ground fault circuit breaker 31 obtains a first time signal Va so as to start a connection between the power transmission line 10 and the ground 35. A second time signal generation part 30 outputs a second time signal Vb to the surge signal measuring instrument 20 at the time based on the set time. The surge signal measuring instrument 20 obtains a second time signal Vb so as to start measuring an artificial surge signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
