PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction device of an engine capable of reinforcing a swirl of suction air, and securing filling efficiency of the suction air at the same time.SOLUTION: A suction port 2 is provided on a cylinder head 1, and has a helical port 8. In a suction device of an engine, when seen in a direction parallel to a cylinder center shaft 6, a wall near a cylinder peripheral wall 7 of both walls of a curve port portion 8f opposed to each other is designated as a wall 8g near the cylinder peripheral wall, and the wall 8g is curved into a shape along the cylinder peripheral wall 7. A corner part 9 is formed at a boundary portion 8h near the cylinder center shaft 6 out of boundaries between an approach port portion 8e and the curve port portion 8f. A wall near the cylinder center shaft 6 of both walls of the approach port portion 8e opposed to each other is designated as a wall 8i near the cylinder center shaft, and a tangential line 8j of the wall 8i is directed to a wall 8g near the cylinder peripheral wall of the curve port portion 8f. |
