The pad may be folded upon itself longitudinally, cut on the bias transversely and rolled up for use. The pad material may be cellulose fibres, regenerated cellulose, modified cellulosics or combinations thereof. The fibres may be carded and orientated in one direction. The adhesive pattern is printed on and may comprise a network or parallel lines and occupies 5-75% of the total area of the pad surface. Many adhesives are specified.
