PURPOSE:To easily remove the 1st unnecessary toner sticking except on a latent image with the 2nd toner by developing the latent image formed on a latent image formation medium previously the 1st toner and then developing it with the 2nd toner. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic toner 23 of small particle size is used for saturation development at a latent image place C on the latent image formation medium 34 in the 1st developing device 21 and stuck gently at a no-latent-image place D. Then, toner 29 of large particle size and the toner 23 of small particle size 23 stuck at the place C are conveyed in the 2nd developing device 27 while stuck on the medium 34, and the toner 23 of small particle size which is stuck collides against the toner 29 of large size at a place D to fall and recovered onto a developing roller 30. Thus, the 1st unnecessary toner 23 stuck except on the latent image is removed with the 2nd toner 29 without scattering, thereby obtaining a fog-free image of high quality. |
