发明名称 SYNTHETIC APERTURE RADAR SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the formation of beam in the arbitrary direction of the flight body mounted to radar, by emitting pulse radio waves to all directions by using a non-directional antenna and applying correlation processing to the echo signal from an object in such a stage that a predetermined reference function is selected. CONSTITUTION:A non-directional antenna is used as an antenna coming to an actual aperture and pulse radio waves are equally emitted to all directions to form actual aperture beam 3 and the reflected waves thereof are received. When the correlation operation of the received echo signal and a transmission wave is performed to carry out imaging processing, the reference function based on the transmission wave is properly selected. For example, when the phase term of the reference function is set to F(theta), correlation operation processing is performed by selecting the reference function of which the phase term is set to F(theta-90 deg.) or F(theta+90 deg.) and the echo component in the echo signal only in the direction of -90 deg. or +90 deg. is taken out to form synthetic aperture beam 4 sharp in an end fire direction.
