PURPOSE:To improve the reliability and economy of the system by providing an exclusive protection circuit and a backup circuit so as to continue a power generating plant at a fault of controller without multiplexing the controller. CONSTITUTION:A DCM (drive control module) and an SGC (signal conditioning module) are provided as the lowest-order control of the controller and a sub-loop controller SLC is provided to the high-order. If the SLC is faulty in the control system, the SGC gives a signal from a thermal power plant 100 to the DCM via an exclusive protection circuit 61, an operation terminal device is operated to protect the plant 100. Furthar, the DCM is provided with a backup circuit and the process feedback amount is controlled to a value just before the fault even at the faulty SLC. Thus, the plant operation is continued even with the faulty controller without multiplexing the controller and the reliability and economy of the system are improved. |
