The clasp comprises a U-profiled part (1) between the wings of which an intermediate part (2) is articulated. This articulation is produced by means of sliding elements (11) mounted in a tube (10) integral with the intermediate part (2) and which are held apart by a spring (13). These sliding elements have outer extensions of different diameters. The small-diameter part (17) permits the lateral introduction of this part into a slot (18) of the profiled part (1), whilst the larger-diameter part (15) is accommodated in a circular hole (16) in the profiled piece (1). By means of simple pressure on two heads (19), it is possible to detach the intermediate piece (2) from the profiled piece (1) in order to stretch (spread) the bracelet.
