PURPOSE:To obtain an effective film counter by providing an area selecting means which changes the area, where film number data should be written, to a second data area time when the of times of correlation data write to a first data area reaches a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:Number data of each film is written in an address A0 if contents of an address B are 1-32, and said data is written in an address A1 if they are 33-64, and said data is written in an address A2 if they are 65-96, and hereafter, the address is changed similarly to write number data. When contents of the address B are [11111111], that is, they reach 256 and the next film is loaded, content of the address B becomes [00000000], and number data of this film is written in the address A0. Contents of address A0-A7 where number data is written are electrically erased each time when a new film is loaded, and number data of the next film is written in address [00000001].
