摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an optical data recording medium having a fast erasing time and extremely high crystallization start temp. by providing a recording membrane wherein the atomicity ratio of Sb, Ge and Te is within a specific region. CONSTITUTION:In a rewritable optical data recording medium, a recording membrane wherein the atomicity ratio of Sb, Ge and Te is within a region surrounded by a point A(Sb55, Ge5, Te40), a point B(Sb68, Ge5, Te27), a point C(Sb68, Ge10, Te22) and a point D(Sb55, Ge15, Te30) is provided. In the optical data recording membrane based on Sb-Ge-Te, when the atomicity ratio of Sb becomes high the crystallization temp. of an amorphous phase becomes high and the erasure of recording becomes difficult. In this data recording medium, high speed erasure such that the crystallization time of a recording dot is 400ns or less can be performed and the crystallization temp. of the amorphous phase is higher than 190 deg.C.
