At least one channel (C2, C4) is established between the base station (20) and any other device (24, 26, 28, 30) within the local area network (LAN) and a control channel (C0) is assigned to the base station and each device in order to control communication between both devices via one or more channels. Multiple channels are bundled together and separated with the aid of an error correction function. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Operating method for a wireless network device, comprising communication with one or more base stations via one or more wireless channels, followed by handling commands over the radio which are sent by the base station via a channel so that the device is linked to one or more devices; (B) Wireless base station comprising a data modulator/demodulator and designed to send digital data to other wireless network devices in a wireless manner via multiple channels, as well as regulate a control channel associated with a manager that communicates with other network devices; (C) Wireless network device comprising a data modulator/demodulator and designed to send/receive data from a base station or other device via one or more channels, the network device being regulated via a control channel; and (D) Wireless LAN comprising two or more wireless network devices with multiple radios, one of the devices being able to receive multiple packets simultaneously via one or more channels. |
