PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively solidification-treating the heavy metal so as to control the eluting quantity of heavy metals, particularly lead, from various heavy metal-containing fly ash such as an alkaline fly ash, a neutral fly ash be equal to or below the reclamation criterion. SOLUTION: The heavy metal-containing fly ash is classified based on calcium content in the heavy metal-containing fly ash and the pH of a heavy metal-containing fly ash aq. suspension. One solidification treating material selected from among a siliceous material, hauynite based cement or the combination of the hauynite based current and a pH reducing agent is used in accordance with the kind of the classified heavy metal-containing fly ash. |
