The cannula enclosure system involves a body (2) positioned over the needle (1) of a medical syringe. The enclosure body fits over a support (4) mounted on the cylindrical axis of the syringe body (5). The enclosure body has an additional opening (3) for the needle. A wheel (6) mounted externally on the body can be turned by hand. The wheel is in contact with the outer surface (9) of the body such that when it is turned a defined distance, the body moves a defined distance in the longitudinal direction.
