Motor vehicle anti-theft device with engine immobiliser

An anti-theft device for vehicle using a door lock and ignition lock has a safety device released only when the door anti-theft lock is deactivated by the car key or remote control unit and the ignition lock is operated by the car key. Both the door lock and the ignition lock have a switch operated by the key and the switches are included in a circuit for the safety device containing a logical AND-gate. The switching state of the safety device is joined to the input of the AND-gate through a coding/decoding unit. The safety device has a valve in the fuel pipeline to the engine.
