Disclosed is a compound and process of making a compound of formula (I) and (Ia) wherein: R1 is an optionally substituted aryl or heteroaryl ring R2 is a H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkyl alkyl, aryl, aryl alkyl, heteroaryl, heteroaryl alkyl, heterocyclic or heterocyclyl alkyl moiety or R2 - is other moieties as defined. R3 is an alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkyl alkyl, aryl, aryl alkyl, heteroaryl, heteroaryl alkyl, heterocyclyl, or an optionally substituted heterocyclyl alkyl moiety. X is R2, OR2, S(O)mR2, (CH2)nN(R10)C(O)R2, (CH2)nNR4R14 or (CH2)nN(R2)2; provided X is not hydrogen and where R4, R10, R14, R20, n and m are as defined. The compound is also disclosed for use in treating a CSBP/RK/p38 kinase mediated disease and for treating respiratory viral infections as defined.
