PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively perform teaching in accordance with the understanding or the desire of a leaner by extracting multi-media teaching materials by a VOD(video on demand) server based on information transmitted from a multi- medial terminal and transmitting the teaching materials to the terminal. SOLUTION: Once a learner logged in to a multi-media terminal 11a, the learning menu of muti-media teaching materials 131 is extracted by the operation of a VOD control part 132 to be displayed on an output device 114a. Next, when the learner selects the learning contents wanted by him to be taught by an input device 112a, a stream control part 111a transmits its request to a VOD server, in which extracts learning contents such as voice information, video information and so forth corresponding to the request of the learner from the multi-media teaching materials 131 to be transmitted to the stream control part 111a of the multi-media terminal 11a from which the request is present. Moreover, the transmitted learning contents are subjected to a data transformation in a decode part 113a to be presented to the output device 114a as the voice information and the video information. |
