REFINING METHOD OF FRICTIONAL MELTING

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a process for refining metal using thermoswitch to control even fine temperature, centrifugal force to remove liquid phase from mother phase and salt as second liquid phase. The method of refining metal using fractional melting is formed by the following processes: puting a metal contained impurities into a reticular filter; burdening the reticular filter in an arc furnace accommodated salt as separate mediator without reactivity with metal which has a lower gravity and a melting point than metal to be refined; raising temperature to the melting point of metal to be refined; on starting to separating liquid phase, separating continuously the liquid phase containing plenty of impurities due to centrifugal force by rotating of filter at the range of solid-liquid coexistent temperature by heating slowly at the rate of 0.1deg.C/min.
