Disclosed is a seat belt buckle case which encases the seat belt without exposing it. The device comprises a recess(22) in the rear seat backrest(20); a buckle case body(40) with buckle containers(31,32) filled with buckles(26,27) attached to seat frame(24); a separating plate(46) between exterior plates(44,45) projecting from rear plate(43) with fastener holes(41,42); and an upper plate(47). The front ends of separating plate(46) and exterior plates(44,45) are located on the surface(20d) of the rear seat back(20) and have a narrower gap than the thickness of the seat belt buckles(26,27) in order to receive the buckles. The device prevents damage to drivers due to the exposed seat belt buckles.
