<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of steel pipe that the works are quickly performed for piping construction and assembling and that can be applicable to requirements for a required joint strength, water shutting out performance, and a sliding function. SOLUTION: This expanding junction joint structure of a steel pipe is formed by butting pipe ends of axially adjacent steel pipes 1, 2, covering the butted part outside crossing over the butted part by a sleeve 3 slightly larger than those of the steel pipes 1, 2, and plastically deforming together with an outer sleeve 3 by means of an expanding device inserted in an inside pipes of steel pipes 1, 2 to provide an expanded part 4 expanded to a fixed projecting height.</p> |
