Transfer of printed sheets with a self-regulating pulling force

The self-regulation of the transfer force of a sheet feeder device (12), is achieved by determination and regulation of the friction force at the transfer unit by control of the current supply to the driving motor (5), which controls its torque. A nominal value of motor current is determined by running the sheet transfer device empty and measuring and storing in memory the motor current.
