<p>The electronic switch comprises an electrode (1) connected to a circuit (5) which is able to detect small variations in current flow. The electrode is embedded in the substrate material in which a plant (2) is rooted and growing. The electronic circuit to which the electrode is connected senses the increase in current when a person (3) touches a part of the plant. The circuit includes an adjustment, enabling alteration of the detection threshold of the circuit. The circuit may include a potential divider formed by two resistance's, with a magnetically operated switch so that the resistor bridge may be activated by the approach of a magnet. An Independent claim is included for a procedure for controlling the electronic circuit.</p> |
