The process for the automatic variation of the working pressure in steam-generating machines (10), comprising a boiler (11) associated to heating means (12) and an external socket (18) for the alternate connection of various appliances, such as an electric iron (13), a cleaning appliance (15), a humidifier (16), or the like, presents the characteristic feature that the steam output pressure from the steam-generating machine (10) may be selected automatically on a number of predefined differentiated levels according to the type of appliance (13, 15, 16) that is connected at a particular moment, the selection of the appropriate steam pressure value being automatically interlocked with the connection of the specific appliance (13, 15, 16) to the socket means (18) of the steam-generating machine (10). |
