The closing device for cans and similar containers of beverages in general comprises a cover disk (2) hermetically fastened on the mouth of the container (1a), a detachable tab (3) pre-dinked on the cover-disk (2) according to a closed line and an action ring (5), engaged on the detachable tab. A junction flap (7) is hermetically fastened on the cover disk (2) and on the detachable tab (3). The junction flap (7) is free to rotate around its own axis of hermetic hinging thereby allowing the detachable tab to remain fastened to the cover disk (2), after the can is opened, and to be rotated until reaching a position that does not hamper or cause hazards to the user. A possible auxiliary portion (7c) of the junction flap (7) allows to cover the emptying opening (4) superimposing the auxiliary portion itself thereto.
