PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellently draining garbage housing basket for a sink by forming an inclined face for flowing down waste water by dead weight in a bottom surface part. SOLUTION: An inclined face 15 is formed in a bottom surface part 13 of a cylindrical main body 11, and is constituted so that waste water flowing in a drain port 5 flows down on the inclined face 15. Vertically downwardly projecting drain guide projections 21 are arranged by the prescribed number in a lower part of the inclined face 15. The drain guide projections 21 are formed by being twisted after being folded in two by inserting a stainless steel thin bar into adjacent through holes 17 formed in the lower part of the inclined face 15. When the waste water flowing in from the drain port 5 falls on the inclined face 15, the waste water cannot stay in a falling position, and flows down on the inclined face 15 by dead weight, and falls vertically downward from the respective through holes 17 formed in the inclined face 15. Since the waste water flowing down up to the lower part of the inclined face 15 is guided vertically downward by going along the drain guide projections 21, draining is remarkably improved.
