PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sewing work efficiency by displacing the pointed end of an outer shuttle in a specified form in a vertical full rotation shuttle provided with a shuttle body for holding a shuttle bobbin case and an upper spring the preventing the pointed end for catching a needle thread loop and the needle thread loop caught by the pointed end from separating from the root part of the pointed end. SOLUTION: This vertical full rotation shuttle has a rotating hook 2 fixed to a lower shaft rotated interlocking with a main shaft of a sewing machine and a shuttle body 9 holding a shuttle bobbin case, and rotating hook 2 is provided with an upper spring 7 for preventing a pointed end 5 for catching a needle thread loop and a needle thread loop caught by the pointed end from separating from the root part of the pointed end 5. In this case, the pointed end 5 of the rotating hook 2 is provided to agree with an upper spring tip extending from the center of rotation of the rotating hook 2 toward the outer periphery. The fitting position of a needle 4 is set above a needle bar and fixed. Thus, the needle thread loop can be surely caught by the pointed end 5 of the rotating hook 2 so as to improve the commodity value of a sewn product and the cloth setting efficiency.
