PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely execute the proper usage of a rotary operation for changing an observation direction by providing a change-over means in an operation body, by which a state is changed-over into a first one where a rotary body is rotated by following up the rotary action of the operation body or a second one where the rotary body is not rotated by not following up the rotation of the operation body. SOLUTION: An endoscope holder is provided with a pressure pin 33 for controlling the connection state of an operation ring 29 which is normally rotated integrally with the endoscope 1 to a built-in ring 31 having an imaging device 25 and is provided with an elastic member 34 in the operation ring 29, and then, a first state where the built-in ring 31 is rotated with the rotary action of the operation ring 29 and a second state where the built-in ring 31 does not follow the rotation of the ring 29 are changed-over by the operation of the pressure pin 33. Therefore, an operation for integrally rotating the endoscope 1 and the imaging device 25 and an operation for rotating only the endoscope 1 are easily and surely used properly only the grasping the operating ring 29 by one hand and operating the pressure pin 33 by the fingers of the grasping hand.
