<p>A garment hanger 120 comprises a suspension hook 12 projecting from a shield area 14 and a pair of arms 16 extending oppositely from either side of the shield area, wherein the hanger is provided with at least one aperture 24 associated with the shield area. The one or more apertures may be open or closed and may, in use, assist the attachment of garment straps, provide finger locations for moving the hangers by hand, or facilitate connection of a plurality of hangers by passing a peg (142, Fig. 22) or like member through aligned apertures. The at least one aperture may also have a label plaque (104, Figure 13) located therein and may be formed by the addition of separate components to the suspension hook or shield area. A plastics garment hanger having a detachable plastics suspension hook is also disclosed.</p> |
