An exhaust gas processing device of simple construction capable of efficiently processing fine particles (g) such as of solid carbon contained in exhaust gases (G), wherein introduced from below into a collecting body (6) having arresting fine particles (5) deposited thereon for arresting fine particles (g) contained in exhaust gases (G) from an engine (E) are the exhaust gases (G), which are then discharged upward, whereby the exhaust gases are processed, and wherein the collecting body (6) is fluidized by a balance between the pressure of the exhaust gases (G) and the gravity on the collecting body (6), and the fine particles (g) are burnt in the fluidized layer (F).
