PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ebony coating composition which does not cause a whitening phenomenon in the shade portion of a formed coating film, when the coating film is obliquely looked, has a high ebony property, and sufficiently develops an interfering property, to provide a method for forming a coating film, and to provide a multilayered coating film. SOLUTION: This ebony coating composition comprises a metal mixture oxide flake pigment containing two or more metal elements, carbon black pigment and a vehicle.
