PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cock capable of preventing anyone from turning a cylindrical body on the flexible tube side by mistake certainly without using a notice arousing indication or the like. SOLUTION: A valve element 6 is installed inside a valve box 1, and a joint part 3 for a flexible tube to supply the gas is installed in one part of the valve box 1 while a joint part 5 for a pipe 4 for leading out the gas is installed in the other part, wherein the joint part 5 of the pipe 4 for leading out the gas and the body of the valve box 1 are arranged rotatable round the axis relative to each other, and in this valve, the periphery of the joint part 3 for the flexible tube is formed as a smooth circumferential outer surface 25 free of any hitching part for a tool.
