PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a shock by accurately controlling idle speed in N→D selection after startup. SOLUTION: The target idle speed NsetN in N range after startup is set high for early activation of catalyst. When detecting N→D selection, the target idle speed is reduced to be set to a first target idle speed Nset1 in the D range for a prescribed period (200 ms). After a lapse of the prescribed period, the target idle speed is reduced further to be set to a second target idle speed Nset2 in the D range. On the basis of a difference between the actual engine speed and the target idle speed, an ignition timing is feedback controlled. During the prescribed period, a feedback gain in ignition timing feedback control is increased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
