<p>A position registration section (100) acquires, by using an acquisition section (101), information on movement conditions that represents movement conditions of a mobile body, and a position specifying section (102) specifies the current position of the mobile body based on the movement condition information and map information. Then, when it is specified by the position specifying section (102) that the current position of the mobile body is a point veered off a road and is a place other than the road, a storage section (103) temporarily stores the veering-off point on the road. Further, if it is determined that the mobile body is parked and such determination is made while it is determined by the parking determination section (104) that the current position of the mobile body is the place other than the road, a search section (105) searches for a ground feature that is present around the position where the mobile body is parked. Then, when a ground feature that is present around the parking position is found by the search section (105), a registration section (106) registers in a memory section (not shown) the veering-off point as the position of the entrance to the parking lot of the ground feature that was found by the search.</p> |
