<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured medical device capable of fixing the position of a treatment catheter by restraining the floating of the catheter in bloodstream and easily performing an accurate treatment with sufficiently secured backup power necessary for treating an affected part. <P>SOLUTION: The medical device comprises a positioning catheter 10 to be inserted into the blood vessel near the affected part, the treatment catheter 20 to be inserted near the affected part, and attraction means 30 disposed at prescribed positions in the catheters 10 and 20 respectively with magnetic force acting in directions of attracting each other.
