<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal porous body having two or more skeleton layers in which the number of integrally formed cells is small, and also, a void content is high. <P>SOLUTION: A metal porous body has at least two skeleton layers having porosity of ≥80% and having at least two kinds of skeleton layers of a first skeleton layer with the number of cells of 5 to 20 pieces and the second skeleton layer with the number of cells of 15 to 45 pieces, which is ≥1.4 times that of the first skeleton layer. The above skeleton layer has the number of cells less than the cell number of the second skeleton layer, and also, they are arranged in the order of the size of the number of cells, and are integrally sintered and formed. Preferably, the thickness of the first skeleton layer is 5 to 25 mm, and the thickness of the second skeleton layer is 1 to 15 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
